Attack of the Northern Goshawks

So I will be attempting the Saugatuck trail this weekend because it's closest to my house more than any other reason.  The trail basically parallels route 53 and hugs the Saugatuck reservoir.  Now because it's so close to a reservoir and in a watershed area you actually need a permit to hike this trail, the permit is actually just a map of the trail which can be found all over the place, just google Saugatuck Trail.  On a sidenote have you tried google chrome yet? Dude, you must it makes the web like 20X faster than windows explorer.  Another interesting fact about this trail, there are nesting Northern Goshawks on the trail from Feb to July and apparently they dive bomb hikers with their very sharp claws aimed at the hiker's dome!  Now because of these birds part of the trail is closed, a section right in the middle.  Check back after this weekend to see if I turned back or got attacked!

Trail Length: 6.9 miles
Location: Weston/Redding, CT
